Your patient customizes their reminders by letting us know what reminders they need, and when they want to receive them. The reminders are delivered to their pager or cell phone at the requested time. They’ll never miss an important task again. If the patient doesn’t currently have a cell phone or text pager - no problem! We can help them get set up. Just click here to send an email for SmartMinder™ assistance. What Does It Cost? For an individual user, the cost for the SmartMinder™ service is only $20 a month with a $25 activation fee. There is no limit on the number of reminders that can be scheduled. Paging or cell phone costs are not included in this price. We will be happy to help your patient identify affordable paging in their local area. If insurance or other funding source will pay for the SmartMinder™ service, we will work with them to arrange payment. Please email us if you or your patient needs assistance. Signing Up for Service To sign up for service, your patient will need to know the email address for their pager or cell phone and their credit card information. If your patient has a cellphone or pager from one of the companies linked to this website, we will need to know the pager or cellphone number. Just email us to get started. For text pagers: Your patient must contact their pager company to find out the email address that can be used to send text messages to the pager. Most companies use their 10 digit phone number, so the address will be something like this: 5551234567@page.metrocall.com If they do not have an email address, then a toll free modem number can be used. For cellphones: Most cellphones have an email address to send text messages. It usually includes the 10 digit cellphone number, for example: 5551234567@mobile.att.net or 5551234567@mobile.mycingular.com |
